Service profile – CVGT

Dianne & Josette introduced CVGT employment service and the types of support they offer and the process for referral. Please see attached flyer

Re next event on Tuesday the 6th September – Job Centre will show case their service

DEAN BRIGHT: ADHC - NDIS readiness Manager Dean provided handouts covering some great information. The conversations were interesting as try to remain abreast of whats happening. It would be worthwhile asking the representative from Victoria Nola Howe to discuss how things are unfolding in Victoria. ACTION: Who will follow this up?

Noted: New Business item added to up-date. Border Mail advertising feature - James Patton distributed the Border Mails feature advertising throughout the network. The article was asking organisations to purchase a spot in the feature to advertise their service readiness for the NDIS. Concern over confusing the public further as they outlined NDIS implementation across the border commences in October 2017 not Juley for NSW and October for Victoria. ACTION: Tracy to follow up

STRATEGY PLANNING UP DATES

Each provided an outline. I recommend that a brief report outlining key movements of working parties between meeting dates but also a brief focus for the following 2 months, to be distributed to members with the up- coming Agenda. This enables everyone to become familiar with progress etc prior to the meeting. ACTION: ALL working groups to be responsible for adjustment to this

It was notedthat Sue O’Connell and Dianne Sutherland had originally added their names to the Strategic working group THREE – Service Delivery, however, haven’t been included in any further communication for meetings/planning. ACTION: To be updated and included on future communication – Martin/Mark.
