1. DATA ENTRY - BODYSHOP JOB CARD OPENING VEHICLE WORKSHOP:

Receive and greet customers, discuss repair needs, guide them on the repair estimates, negotiate with the insurance companies on the estimates, once agreed by the customer open the repair order in the system.

Control and monitor the progress at shop floor to ensure that the job is completed within the assigned time and the vehicle is delivered.

 Examine the repair request to establish the repair order has been correctly transcribed and allocate the specialist technician to ensure excellent workmanship and quality repair

Identify parts required for the repair and order them form the Parts department or from the local market.

 Prepare a workshop loading plan/ progress system and personally supervise its implementation so as to monitor status of repair of the vehicles .Test the cars once they are repaired to ensure the work is carried out accurately.

Examine description of jobs on the job card to ensure that all the repairs carried out under the warranty scheme have been fully documented and forward the same to warranty Administrator for lodging the claim.

 Keep the customers informed on the status of the repairs and the actual time of delivery on a constant basis, ensure the collection of payment on time, follow up with the customers on the performance of the car post repairs to main a proactive and healthy relation with the customers.

Maintain service records and customer appointments to generate daily body shop revenue and monitor the achievement of the targets. Report on the shop performance and achievement of targets to the Body shop Manager

Ensure that company’s health safety policies are followed, all tools equipments are kept in good order, and housekeeping standard are maintained so as to preserve a good safe and healthy working environment.

Evaluate and monitor performance of the subordinate against set standard, identify and provide necessary training, keep them motivated and to improve efficiency and productivity.

2. DATA ENTRY - MECHANICAL JOB CARD OPENING VEHICLE WORKSHOP:

Job Cards and Construction Work Packs are commonly used to detail to the workforce the jobs that have to be completed during the construction phase of a project or for maintenance ofan existing facility.

The information contained within the job card or work packcan contain man-hour estimates, materials lists, drawings, QA/QC dataand testing requirements.

Create a Bill of Materials listing the materials required for a particular work scope. Link Bill of Materials line itemsto job cards or work packs.

Define deliverables, such as drawings. Link deliverables to job cards or work packs. Definewelding requirements ondrawings linked to a job card or work pack.

Record completion status for welds.
