Quality Control Intern
QC intern performs daily inspection for quality control under quality control inspector. These inspections will be documented for which training will be provided to a QC intern. QC intern is responsible for maintaining accurate and precise products; ensures timelines and appropriate sense of urgency in all aspects of quality control functions; and ensures that productivity and turnaround goals are met. QC intern updates training records under supervision of quality control inspector and is involved in business activities and gains valuable industry experience while working with top experienced professionals. QC intern ensures customer orders and forms are completed accurately, detailed, stamped and have appropriate signatures prior to final review by quality control inspector.
Ideal candidate is one with one or more of the following: basic knowledge of structural steel, welding, dimensioned drawings or pursing a 4 year degree in Construction Engineering Technology or related field.
