Agreement for Agility Trial Secretarial Services

Section 1 - General Agreement

Christie Bowers offers and upon acceptance of this agreement, agrees to provide the following services and products as specified in the terms and conditions set forth below, in accordance with the ______hereinafter referred to as the "Club", for the rates and prices quoted herein. This proposal is for the Club’s _ Agility Trial, being held on ______hereinafter referred to as the "Agility Trial". The location of the trial is ______

Section 2 - Services and Equipment Provided by Christie Bowers

(a)Trial Secretarial Services. Christie Bowers will provide the following trial secretary services to the Club.

Providing the judges with the required information for their assignment.

Preparation of the premium;

Dissemination of the premium through mailing , emailing and website availability;

Processing of entries including data entry and database revision;

AKC online entry option;

Bookkeeping of entry fees;

Emailing confirmations on the day entry is received;

Addressing questions/concerns from the competitors;

Preparation and printing of running order and class schedules;

Printing and mailing/emailing of confirmations and numbers to exhibitors;

Bookkeeping and data entry of results at the trial, including coordination with the judges;

Printing/ Posting of class results;

Printing of ribbon labels with each competitors qualifying information;

Follow up with judges and exhibitors with any questions or problems with results;

Filing electronic results with AKC ;

Secondary display monitors for the competitors to see the most recently scored dogs in each ring;

Emailing competitors their results after the trial is over;

(b) Equipment. Christie Bowers will provide computers ,printers, secondary display monitors and the necessary scoring equipment for the scoretable. I will provide the scoretable workers, who have 25 years of combined experience.

(c) Show Set up and Break Down Labor. Christie Bowers will be responsible for the transportation, set up, management and take down of the scoretable equipment.

Section 3 - Club Responsibilities

The Club is responsible to perform all duties and functions required of the sanctioning organization except as delegated to Christie Bowers in this contract.

(a) Insurance. The Club shall furnish comprehensive public liability insurance covering the legal liability of the Club, its officers, directors and members, the lessee and owner of the premises on which the trial is to be held, Christie Bowers and her employees and agents. The minimum coverage of such insurance shall be (1) Bodily Injury liability with limits of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) for each person: (2) Property damage liability limits of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) for each incident. The Club shall be solely responsible and will indemnify and hold Christie Bowers harmless for any damages or liabilities arising from the Agility Trial.

(b) Equipment. The Club shall provide Christie Bowers with tables, chairs, protection from the elements and electrical outlets with 110 volt capacity and chocolate candy.

(c) Ancillary Services. Some of the following Club responsibilities may be delegated to Christie Bowers if mutually agreeable to both parties such as selection of judge’s and applications to AKC.

Section 4 - Fees for Services

In consideration of the services and products provided by Christie Bowers under the terms of this Agreement, the Club agrees to pay the agreed price for services as set in subsections (a) through (c) below, for the Agility Trial.

(a)Secretarial Services. The fee for services will be $6.00 per dog per day. This includes all expenses.

(b) Transportation and Lodging Fees. The club will be responsible for reserving a camping site at the Agility Trial. Camping fees will be the Trial Secretary’s responsibility.

Section 5 - Deposit, Cancellation and Payment

Upon acceptance of this contract the Club agrees to pay a deposit of 100.00 at the date of this agreement. This deposit is refundable in the event that the Club cancels the contract prior to ninety (90) days of the date of the Agility Trial. In the event that the Club cancels this Agreement after ninety (90) days prior to the Agility Trial, the deposit is refundable only if the Club cancels the Agility Trial and does not hold an Agility Trial within one (1) calendar year from the date of this contact.

Section 6 - Agreement, Sovereignty, Severability

Having read and agreed upon all terms of this agreement, the Club hereby affirms this Agreement. This Agreement supersedes any and all Agreements previously entered into with Christie Bowers by the Club. The laws of the State of Washington shall govern this Agreement. This Agreement shall be liberally construed as an entire document to accomplish the broad purpose thereof. Nevertheless, each provision of this Agreement shall be deemed independent and severable, and the invalidity or partial invalidity of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining part of that or any other provision.
