Product Delivery Requirements
1.Instructor or Delivery Agent skills required to deliver the product:
  • Instructor must have thorough knowledge and understanding of the HPLC ChemStation software A.06 to A.09.
  • The instructor must know how to customize and maintain Windows NT and Windows 2000 .
  • Instructor must have an understanding of HPLC theory and applications.
  • Instructor must know and understand how to use spectral data including: how to explain and use the peak purity software; how to use and demonstrate isoabsorbance plotting; and how to build a UV library.
  • Instructor must know how to use the enhanced integrator.
  • Instructor must know how to build calibration tables, perform sequencing (with bracketing and cyclic recalibrations), and use sequence summary reporting.
  • Helpful but not required: Instructor must be able to create customized reports with the custom report generator, commands and macros.

2. Equipment (Instrumentation and Software) Required for product delivery
Laboratories in this course are designed for laptop computers or ChemStation computers only. Laboratories do not require instruments. The recommendation is a computer for each customer. A printer can be shared between no more than two ChemStations.

  • A.09 G2170AA Single Instrument LC2d ChemStation Software
  • A.09 G2180AA Spectral Processing Software
Windows NT or Windows 2000 based systems
• HP/Compaq Evo D510 or HP Vectra VL 420 Pentium IV 2.2 GHz (single instrument or
multiple instrument configurations)
• Super VGA display (at 1024 x 768 resolution)
• 20 GB hard disk
• CD-ROM or CD-RW drive
Minimum memory specifications:
• Single instrument configuration:
128 MB RAM
• Multiple instrument, Agilent
ChemStore or 3D configuration:
128 MB RAM
Note:
If you plan to install Windows
NT 4.0 or Windows 2000, all
PC hardware and peripherals
must be listed in the Microsoft
Windows NT Hardware
Compatibility List (HCL),
