Agenda Item 1: Antitrust Admonition

The ERCOT Antitrust Admonition and Disclaimer were read by the Chair,Jim Lee.

Agenda Item 2: Introductions/Agenda Review

Jimreviewed theagenda and made introductions.

Agenda Item 3: Review and Approve Call Notes

The notes for the May 25, 2016 meeting were approved.

Agenda Item 4: Annual Validation 2016 Update

  • Nikki reported that only one Final Residential List has been received from the TDSP’s.
  • Follow-Up:Nikki will send out a reminder email to the TDSP’s for RES lists.
  • All TDSPs are OK with receiving Annual Validation tasks via MarkeTrak from ERCOT. (ERCOT initiated this change.)
  • ERCOT will indicate in the Subject line “Annual validation” or “AV”.
  • Follow-Up: ERCOT will send out “Business Annual Validation” tasks via MarkeTrak for 2016.
  • Follow-Up: Nikki will add “MT issue #” to the Annual Validation BUS Task List for 2016.

Agenda 5: Discussions to Modify the Annual Validation Schedule

  • In order to move-up the Business schedule, a Profile Decision Tree modification will be needed as follows.
  • Profile Decision Tree Section III: Business – Assignment Year for Average Load Factor Calculations specifies: “July of the previous calendar year through June of the current year.”
  • A language change will be needed to read: “the most recent 12 consecutive calendar months”.
  • Include this change within the entire Load Profiling Guide when modifying the Annual Validation calendar.
  • If a “due date” falls on a weekend, it is understood that ERCOT will complete the task on the next business day.

Agenda 6: DG Standard Report – Continuing Discussion

  • The TDSPs communicated that any information available on the Interconnection Agreement with the customer will always be passed along to ERCOT.
  • How is the Energy Storage data to be used? The data is for reporting purposes only. If it goes beyond reporting, the TDSPs would like to have a bigger discussion.
  • Follow-Up: Remove “Available/Applicable” from the form.

Agenda 7: Review 058LPGRR-01 Administrative Changes for July 1 2016 Load Profiling Guide Section 21 Alignment 061616

  • Lindsay reviewed the LPGRR containing administrative changes.
  • No PWG action needed. The LPGRR will be effective on July 1, 2016.

Agenda 8: Review Protocol Section 9.18 - Profile Development Cost Recovery Fee for Non-ERCOT Sponsored Load Profile Segment – Continuing Discussion

No changes needed to Load Profiling Guide Section 12.7 and the Section will be retained.

Agenda 9:Compare Protocol Section 18 and Load Profiling Guide Documents

Jim reviewed the comparison outputs.

Agenda 10: Approve LPGRR057, Alignment with NPRR781, Updates to Nodal Protocol Section 18, Load Profiling, to Align with Current Market Processes

  • The PWG had consensus to approve. The Impact Analysis for NPRR781 will come back to the PWG for the July call.

The next PWG meeting is currently scheduled for July 27,2016 as a WebEx only.
