Annual Meeting Rescheduled for February 28

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Wildwood Homeowners Association Annual Meeting as been rescheduled for 10:00 amSaturday, February 28 at the Mulder Church which is located at 3454 Firetower Road. The agenda includes reporting on activities during 2008, electing new officers, reviewing the 2009 budget, and making plans for next year. This is an opportunity for homeowners to meet neighbors and share ideas regarding our neighborhood. We would like to have at least one person from every home participate.

Safe Streets

Wildwood is widely regarded as a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, but our residents live busy lives. Sometimes we get in a hurry and sometimes we drive too fast. Since our subdivision does not have sidewalks, car drivers share the road with bicyclists and pedestrians of all ages. Please help keep our streets safe by operating vehicles under 25 miles per hour.

New Neighbors

Brian and Amy Castleberry recently moved into their new home at 110 Elkmont Way. They have two children: Kaitlyn, age 4 and Allison, age 19 months. Brian is an account executive with Code Ryte. He likes the outdoors and his hobbies include hunting and spending time at the lake. Amy is a homemaker. Her hobbies include smocking and spending time with family and friends. Their phone number is 396-1199. We welcome the Castleberry family as the newest neighbors in Wildwood.

Wildwood Directories

Pat Cannon, WHA Treasurer, maintains the financial records and membership records for our association. She also publishes and distributes our directory. When changes occur with your family’s information please contact her at 567-0879 or so that our records are accurate and up to date.

Clean Streets

Litter detracts from the natural beauty of our neighborhood. Almost every day, beverage containers, paper wrappers, and cigarette butts, can be found somewhere along the streets of Wildwood. Some residents report picking up litter every time they go out for a walk. Please help keep our streets clean by discarding trash properly and picking up litter.

Dues Statements

Wildwood homeowners will receive annual dues statements from our treasurer soon. The annual dues for the Wildwood Homeowners Association have remained at $144 since the subdivision was established over 10 years ago. In spite of the increase in the number of homeowners, our expenses have been increasing a little faster than our income. We ran short of funds in 2007 and had to collect a special assessment. In addition, the homeowners association is scheduled to become responsible for additional common areas in Phase 5 and Phase 6 sometime next year. Therefore, the WHA Board decided that this dues increase is absolutely necessary. Detailed information regarding the 2009 budget will be presented at the annual meeting of the Wildwood Homeowners Association scheduled for February 28.
