5. CAPACITY MANAGEMENT FOR POOLE HOSPITAL NHS TRUST AND THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE BOURNEMOUTH AND POOLE PRIMARY CARE TRUST AND ADULT SOCIAL CARE
Members to receive a report from the Chief Executive of Poole Hospital NHS Trust, the Chief Executive of Bournemouth and Poole Primary Care Trust and the Head of Adult Social Services (Commissioning). (Report to follow)

To consider the following Motion referred from Council on 24 October 2006:
Audiology Services for Poole
“This Council requests the Bournemouth and Poole Primary Care Trust:
either to restore the two mornings a week, Poole Hospital 'drop in' service, for the repair of Hearing Aids, and the Assessment / Review of patients needs;
Or provide more 'bookable' clinics at the hospital to cut the current waiting times of three weeks for Repairs and three months for Assessments / Reviews".

The next meeting will take place at 7.00pm on Tuesday 13 February 2007, in the Committee Suite, Civic Centre.
A full day seminar to develop Poole Health Scrutiny Committee’s contributions to local Trusts’ ‘Standards for Better Health’ Declarations will be held on Friday 19 January 2007 in the Committee Suite, Civic Centre.
