- Verity Marshall of Humanist Society has stood down due to ill health

- BSL translators were introduced.

- 'PIP - Partnership in Practice' presentation by Joyce Barclayand Linda Sheridan. Annual report noted, and summary issued as attached.
- Questions were taken, and noted that:
- Consultation best done through small
'focus' groups. Questionnaires did not
work.
- Digitial stories planned.
-Sound Sense to attend future PIP meetings.
- NHS to assess health needs of service users e.g. Well Men Group
- Dating/Friendship agency progressed
- Joyce was invited to stay for the rest of the meeting.

- Noted that consultation/bill to give BSL equal status ongoing. Details at:
- Scottish Council on Deafness have link on website to enable 'signed' response
- Noted consultation on Blue badges ongoing nationally and locally till Oct.
- BSL online interpreting pilot discussed, and noted that further online pilot being investigated. Details to follow.
- Concerns raised that letter sent to individual with literacy issues. Details to be investigated after the meeting.
- Members urged to become involved in 'Digital Dundee', a project to improve IT for Dundonians in their homes.
- A query was raised on conversion equipment to enable people with mobility issues to get in and out of their car's independently. Andrew McGhee at Dundee Independent Living Centre
- Betty Clark of Dundee Access group welcomed members of the Disability and Age Action Group to join Dundee Access Group, and brought members attention to copies of their 'Access for Disabled people - A Guide to Dundee'

- Member views on 'Taxis' collected and sent to the licensing team
- Building Standards Agency 'Inclusive Design Guide' was issued; electronic copy attached to minute.
- Volunteers requested for views sought on Hate Crime reporting; contact Scott Mands.
- A presentation on Adult Protection would be organised at a future Disability and Age Action Group meeting
