12 / Emergency Procedures
It is believed that the risk of a flu pandemic is now very high. Though neighbours in Hawkesbury do look out for each other very well, the PC discussed if they could provide further help. It is believed that in an epidemic, 33% of parishioners would catch the flu.It is believed that in such a Communication is very important. SH to take advice from SGC.

14.2 / HB is currently surveying the phone situation on the commons – she has just had a quote for a broadband connection of £280,000!
14.3 / DH cycling proficiency is important for children cycling to school.
14.4 / A grass verge in Birgage Rd is now being regularly used for parking cars.
14.5 / PI was riding along Highfields Lane near Horton Lanewhen a car drove very very fast, scared his horse causing it to run into and damage a gate. Fortunately PI was not injured, and the gate owner has been informed.
14.6 / AM – a fast Yate-Bristol bus service has been replaced by a slow bus service.
14.7 / AM – the passing places along Starveall Laneneed sorting out the potholes have now been blocked with tarmac
14.8 / LR - Stones in France Lane by Britton Bottom are slipping from the verges onto the road.
14.9 / PR –a Barn possibly owned by D Watts is being unsuitably used by children
14.10 / SH - A46 grass verge by Petty France is unsightly, can the PC provide bedding plants on the verge. PC does not want to fund this.
14.11 / SH – can a memorial tree be placed in the hall field. PC is not averse to this depending where the tree is placed. SH to forward note to Hall committee. / A15SH
