With over 25 years experience, Age Concern Enterprises Ltd, the trading company of Age UK, has plenty to celebrate!
From the beginning, the aim has always been to redress inadequacies and failures in the insurance and financial services market, by offering Age UK customers, products and services that will enhance their quality of life and also generate sustainable income for the charity.
We now boast a portfolio of quality, tailored products that increasingly contributes to the success of Age UK and offers many benefits to its customers. Age Concern Enterprises Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority for general insurance (311438). Local Age UKs may be involved as Trading Alliance Members, and with the full support of Regional Sales Managers, colleagues from other Age UKs in the Region, and the full team of Age Concern Enterprises Ltd., can deliver local face-to-face services and support.
At Age UK North Yorkshire we provide services across a wide geographical area and our insurance trading activities are delivered by trained staff and volunteers at our Harrogate, Ripon and Northallerton offices on a face to face and telephone basis. The team is headed by our Insurance Supervisor with support and backup from Age UK Enterprises staff. All our Insurance team members are trained and receive on-going support and updates to meet the regulatory requirements of the Financial Service Authority.
Age UK Enterprises has developed a range of products and services tailored for the over 50s. These include Home, car, and Travel Insurance, Motor Breakdown, gas and Electricity, Funeral Plans, Personal Alarms, Age UK Weekly Lottery and Charity Flowers. Commissions generated from these products and services go directly to support the work of Age UK.
The insurance service is one of a range of services and support that we offer local older people from our office bases in Harrogate, Ripon and Northallerton that help our clients remain independent and enjoy an improved quality of life.
