6.1Draft guidance material on digital data exchange based on AIXM will be reviewed (ref. Action agreed 1/15).
6.2Consideration of the restructuring of Annex 15 to include the notion of services and separate data from publication will be reviewed (ref. Action agreed 1/16 a).
Agenda Item 7:Electronic AIP (eAIP)
Draft guidance material on the provision of electronic AIP, aligned with the existing guidance on AIP in Doc 8126, will be reviewed (ref. Action agreed 1/18).
Agenda Item 8:NOTAM and related messages
8.1A progress report on Amendment No. 2 to the Aeronautical Information Services Manual (Doc 8126) will be presented (ref. Action agreed 1/28).
8.2A report on possible future amendments to Annexes to include high-level SARPs related to AIS and MET data link services will be presented (ref. Action agreed 1/13).
Agenda Item 9:Electronic charts and GIS
9.1A draft proposal to integrate aerodrome mapping databases into Annexes 4, 14 and 15 provisions while maintaining compatibility with the AIXM will be reviewed (ref. Action agreed 1/4 b).
9.2Draft guidance material on aerodrome mapping databases (AMDBs) will be reviewed (ref. Action agreed 1/14).
9.3A proposal for Amendment No. 2 to the World Geodetic System — 1984 (WGS-84) Manual (Doc 9674) will be reviewed.
9.4A plan to develop a new edition of the Aeronautical Chart Manual (Doc 8697) will be reviewed. (ref. Action agreed 1/31).
Agenda Item 10:AIM quality management system
A draft AIS quality management manual will be reviewed (ref. Action agreed 1/20 c).
Agenda Item 11:Electronic terrain and obstacle data (eTOD)
The results of the consultation on Amendment 36 to Annex 15 related to Chapter 10 — Electronic terrain and obstacle data will be reviewed. The development of guidance material to support Chapter 10 will be discussed.
Agenda Item 12:AIM staff training guidance
A draft AIS training manual will be reviewed (ref. Action agreed 1/19 c).
Agenda Item 13:Legal and institutional issues related to AIM
A list of current and future institutional and legal issues to be considered in the context of current AIS and future AIM will be reviewed (ref. Action agreed 1/32 b).
Agenda Item 14:AIM in the future ATM System
14.1Information on NextGen and SESAR work programmes and, in particular, the elements related to the transition to AIM will be provided.
14.2Consideration of the MET component will be discussed and the Secretary will call for members’ ideas on the required synergies and harmonization with respect to meteorological products and services.
Agenda Item 15:Future work programme of the group
The future work programme of the group will be addressed and in that context, specific tasks will be assigned to the members. Milestones and dates for completion for all the tasks will be reviewed and established. Additionally, changes to the AIS-AIMSG web site and associated working procedures will be reviewed.
