Use Keynote/Pixie to create a before and after picture explanation of a chemical change. Include a paragraph that explains the pictures, chemical changes, and why you chose this image/reaction. / 2. Research
Research Cloisonné and describe what it is. Identify how physical and chemical changes occur during this process. Create a “how-to” manual demonstrating how to complete the process along with your research. / 3. Develop a Brochure
Water is the most common liquid both on the Earth and in our bodies. Develop a brochure about water, its properties, how it changes with each state of matter, and its value to us.

Research the periodic table history as well as how the columns/sections are organized. Next, choose three unfamiliar elements and research how they influence our world. Be sure to include the atomic number, mass, and number of neutrons. Create a poster to show your research. / 5. Density
Choose five objects from your classroom. Make a data table to record the mass and the volume of each object. Calculate the objects’ density. Rank the items from least to most dense in a graph. Put all of your work onto a poster display. / 6. Genetics
Based on Dolly, the cloned sheep and other recent research, recommend a position about cloning you believe should be endorsed by the scientific community. Write an editorial that includes your reasoning for Biology Today journal.
(At least 1 page. Make it look authentic.)

Matter changes continuously on Earth. Create interview questions and answers on the discovery of Bose-Einstein Condensates. Discuss how they were found and how they differ from the “regular” states of matter. You will act as the responder/specialist. Record your interview.(10) / 8. Physical Properties
You can create an experiment to conduct in class regarding physical properties of matter. Be creative and follow along with the provided experiment guidelines. / 9. Create a Skit
Create a skit about a super hero molecule and his adventures on a very busy day as he travels through multiple states of matter. The skit must be at least 2 minutes. Record your skit!
