Memorial Day Parade Make-Up
Assignment:
Research Memorial Day. Explain how the last Monday of May became a day of national remembrance. Choose three Memorial Day traditions that you or your town observe. For each tradition: describe the tradition, explain how it became a tradition (what does it represent, where did it come from geographically, culturally or historically, give at least one example of how this tradition is observed in your home or your home town.
Your paper should be in Times New Roman, 12 point font with standard margins and a minimum of 1 page.
The paper must meet the following criteria to be accepted:
