Matthews – Mr. Andrew’s room 315
Hallman, Edwards, Damron, Schovanec – Computer Lab 349
Those of you who are sharing computer labs will need to co-teach. I will let you all work out the details.
3. Pass out student portal letters / Advisor Script: Today we are going to learn how to access the student and parent portal. I am handing out your student portal letters. If you do not receive a letter that means you or a parent have already accessed the student portal. Those of you who have already accessed it can either log on or help your neighbor get logged on if they need help. Once you get your letter please go to the website that is on your letter: . Then type in your user name and password.
(Make sure everyone with a letter gets logged on.)
Now we will go over a few of the main functions. If you want to change your password go to the black tool bar at the top and you will see an icon that looks like a wheel, click on that to change your password. The icon next to it, that has the question mark and exclamation point, is the help button. The last icon that has the green arrow is the logout button. (Give them a couple of minutes to change their password if they choose to do so.)
Under the black tool bar is a grey tool bar that says “Year,” “Session,” and “Section” you can click the drop down arrow on the section tab to access any of your classes. The last option you see on that tool bar is the “Section Summary”. This will give you a quick overview of all your classes at once.
At this time you are free to explore the grade book and click on the different tabs to familiarize yourself with it. / Student Portal Letters
4. Reminder / Advisor Script: You can also go to Oologah Public Schools webpage and click on “Parent Portal” to access the portal (for students and parents). Also, if your parents want their log in information they can contact Mrs. Johnson at the central enrollment office, Mrs. Burks, or Mrs. Odle.
