Quotations taken from student evaluations of Mr. Scisco’s AP courses between 2011-2013.

·  “Read the book and study the material regularly. Do not procrastinate!”

·  “Do. Your. Homework…and read the book! This course is not that hard if you read the book, especially if you do the curve packet.”

·  “Read the freaking chapters!!! Answer the chapter questions completely! They really help your grade.”

·  “Do the curve packets a couple of weeks before the test (if possible), fill up all the space on the chapter questions (with relevant correct answers), and study.”

·  “Study, breathe, and pace yourself because if you don’t study you won’t make it. It gets stressful so you have to breathe and it is lots of work so you have to pace yourself.”

·  “Do your homework with your best effort! Take advantage of the chances for extra credit (films, curve packets, progress reports, and essay re-writes).”

·  “Pay attention to Scisco’s lectures. He tells you all you need to know.”

·  “Set aside time every night and focus on just this class.”

·  “Don’t wait until something is almost due to start it. Read the book! Do the curve packets! Pay attention to lectures.”

·  “Do what helps you, don’t try to adjust your learning style to fit the class. Work hard, manage your time effectively, and do curve packets.”

·  “Read the book and take the chapter questions seriously.”

·  “Study! Look at the bigger picture of events to connect them.”

·  “Stay organized, stay ahead of homework at least two days in advance, and watch the Crash Course videos (which are linked to on Mr. Scisco’s website).”

·  “STUDY! Try to work with classmates on assignments where that is permitted such as chapter questions.”
