Programme Outline

Before venturing into Jack’s other adventures, the programme begins with some highlights of Storyland I.

In Jack’s next adventure, he met Peter Pan who showed him how to shoot with bows and arrows, catch and cook fish. Lacking self-confidence, Jack found every task difficult. On the verge of giving up, Peter Pan encouraged him to strive on and face his own problem. He further prodded him to reading so as to overcome his problem.

Through a time machine, Jack went from the past to the future and met Professor Mind, the inventor. Jack was amazed to see the trash machine which could turn useless things into useful ones. With Professor Mind’s encouragement, Jack regained his confidence. His personal experiences in these adventures enlightened him to adopt a more positive attitude towards solving his own problems and seek wisdom in the realm of reading.

Jack’s whole outlook on life changed when he returned to reality. At the end of the programme, he became a pleasure reader.
