PRAYER TO THE RISEN CHRIST

Heavenly Father and God of mercy,

We no longer look

For Jesus among the dead,

For He is alive

And has become the Lord of Life.

From the waters of death

You raise us with Him

And renew your gift of life within us.

Increase in our minds and hearts

The risen life

We share with Christ

And help us to grow as your people

Toward the fullness of eternal life with you.

We ask this through Christ our Lord,

AMEN

Just for Laughs - It was the day of the big sale. There was a long line that formed in front of the store before it opened. A small man pushed his way to the front of the line, only to be pushed back, amid loud and colorful curses. On the man's second attempt, he was punched square in the jaw, and then thrown to the end of the line again. As he got up the second time, he said to the person at the end of the line...
"That does it! If they hit me one more time, I won't open the store!"

The Prayer Shawl Ministry meeting has changed days and time.
