Person-profile:

A well organised individual with good interpersonal skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Able to provide support for the delivery ofthe Wales Remote Assessment strategic objectives and project outcomes through effective administrative procedures

Clearly focused on quality service, withstrong ICT skills and the ability to accurately record and disseminate information and maintain accurate records.

Understanding of opportunities created for disabled people through ICT.

Experience of carrying out varied administration tasks

Competencies

Excellent telephone manner

Strong communication skills written and verbal

Excellent software knowledge and competency on a variety of packages

Basic understanding of financial procedures

Primary purpose:

Responsible for all administration duties required to support the Wales Remote Assessment Project and its activities.

Handle general enquiries into the centre

Promote available project services to Public Access centres currently recruited to the project.

Support AbilityNet’s aim to deliver the greatest possible ICT access in all environments.

Key Responsibilities

Receive telephone calls and record calls on call recording system

Ascertain needs and make arrangements as required to ensure project delivery

Work as part of the team at external exhibitions as required

Prepare reporting as required by the project manager
