ADJUDICATION INVITATION for the 2017 OIREACHTAS - November 10, 11, 12 in Toronto, Ontario.
Thank you for interest in judging our regional qualifier. Adjudicators selected to judge this event must comply with the current An Coimisiun directives regarding criteria for adjudication, and any future directives issued prior to our Oireachtas. Adjudicators must not have judged either the 2015 or 2016 Eastern Canadian Championships, nor may they judge Preliminary or Open Championship events at feiseanna in the region for three months prior (as of August 9th, 2017). Adjudicators must not have any conflicts with dancers eligible to compete at the Eastern Canadian Championships. Should a conflict become known, a contracted adjudicator will be required to recuse themselves without recourse to payment etc. Adjudicators who adjudicators withdraw their services once contracted (for reasons other than personal health or family health or emergency) will not be eligible to re-apply for our Oireachtas for the next five years, and will be responsible for any non-refundable costs incurred by the IDTACe.
Overseas adjudicators will comply with the committee’s request to arrive in Toronto no later than Wednesday the 8th of November and North Americans will arrive Thursday the 9th. Other requirements will be laid out in the contract.
Please submit this form no later than October 14th, 2016. Your name cannot appear on the ballot without submitting a signed form. All e-mailed submissions shall receive a response receipt.
The adjudication panel will be selected at the General Meeting of the I.D.T.A.C.-E.R. in November 2016. The selected panel will be posted online once adjudicators confirm acceptance to: https://idtace.wordpress.com/

I have not adjudicated this region’s Oireachtas in 2015 or 2016, and I am not contracted to adjudicate the 2017 Western Canadian Oireachtas since an adjudicator may only officiate at one qualifier per country per year. I understand that if I fail to return my contract and/or confirm travel arrangements within the stipulated time frame, any such invitation may be cancelled by IDTACE with proper notice.
