Home Study Fees

Full Update- More than 12 months but less than 5 years since initial HS completed by LH / $550 / $275 due at home visit, $275 due upon completion of report.
Full Update- More than 12 months but less than 5 years since initial HS completed by other agency / $750 / $375 due at home visit, $375 due upon completion of report.
Addendum for change in life reporting / $200 / $200 due at the completion of report.
Post Placement Fees
Post Placement Supervision / $200/visit / Payment due upon completion of Post-Placement report(s).
Number of reports varies by state.
Additional Fees Adoptive Parents are Responsible for:
Legal fees- Payable to attorneyMedical fees of birthmother and child not covered by insurance or Medicaid
Approved living expense for birth mother
Additional costs for travel and lodging will be charged to the family if services are provided outside the greater Kansas City metro area. Mileage would be at the then current IRS mileage allowance and meals and lodging would be reimbursed at the actual costs incurred. Any costs that might be incurred will be discussed with the family prior to services being performed.
