Worked under mentorship of Sr. Amazon Web Services Architect/Administrator, on a team that provides managed services to groups within the agency. Underwent extended, intensive, AWS Training toward achieving Associates Certifications in Solutions Architecture, Development and SysOps Administration. Heavy use of the AWS Javascript SDK and Node.js for discovery, reporting and manipulation of AWS resources. Worked with design and administration of virtual networks and servers, as well as web site and web-server administration. Some work developing custom functionality in Google Mail, Forms and Sheets using Google apps script.

Initiative to design and build a Data Cleansing Solution to apply to the Army Enterprise Material Master Catalog. Enterprise modernization and consolidation efforts require much higher standards of data quality than were practiced in legacy systems, involve many complex business rules and a number of subjective decisions, all which would place impossible demands on small staff of experts, but are badly needed to realize mission critical objectives. I joined the team as a senior full-stack developer and within weeks was promoted to System Architect and Lead Developer, where I worked with a team of 7 others to develop a solution using Sql Server 2012, Asp.net Web API, Javascript, and Telerik Kendo UI. I took responsibility for all database and restful service design, database, server and webserver administration and much of the git source code administration. I worked 80+ hours/week for a number of months to meet difficult deadlines, and was quickly able to drastically shrink the number of developers needed to keep the project on track.

Front End Developer on a rather large project to create a modern solution to consolidate and replace the numerous legacy systems that are currently used for processing Patent Applications. Agile development with Continuous Integration to develop a browser-based web application that consumes RESTful services developed in JAVA. Working with Business Owners, QA and a team of developers, I performed development, trouble-shooting and testing on a rather large, 508 compliant web-application using Javascript and Javascript Frameworks, HTML5, CSS 3, etc.

Working closely with top leadership in several organizations to design and develop applications. With one primary client, I worked to determine how to better leverage Geographic Information Systems, researched available products, and developed some of the more readily needed solutions using ESRI's ArcGIS API for Javascript, Dojo Toolkit, HTML5, ASP.NET, Sql Server Spatial, and ASP.NET Web API Services. Integrated new development with legacy applications and databases, and made improvements to legacy Foxpro-based systems by modifying logic and converting them to consume new Web API Services. Some experimenting with setting up GEOSERVER. With another client I resolved impossible bottle-necks and developed insightful reports surrounding and incredibly tedious, broken and unstable web application that they are forced to deal with in their day-to-day work. I developed a program that would launch numerous windows that would each log in to this difficult site, navigate through a serious of pages and options, enter data there, scrape data off of pages, and developed useful reports off of captured data. This application used Visual Studio 2012, Selenium Web Driver and Sql Server 2008R2.

Responsible for maintaining, configuring and consuming internal WCF Services. Responsible for maintaining a WPF application consuming services. Assisted with analysis and maintenance of related applications and databases. Provided technical leadership in Sql Server, Visual Studio Development, build and deployment with applications published to Citrix environment. Continuing development of a general-purpose, Information Management Framework described at , as well as a promotional website, promoting advantageous organizational strategies, practices, and disciplines that are made feasible by using this Framework as an extensible central hub for collecting, vetting, organizing, aligning, disseminating, and re-purposing all of the diverse information and details useful in describing, modeling and documenting the purpose and implementation of Business Systems, processes, integrations, etc. I give examples illustrating the fusion, normalization and refinement of diverse structured and unstructured information into a “single version of the truth” which ultimately makes it more manageable, consistent, searchable, and consumable. Practical examples include the kinds of information found in knowledge-transfer documents, user-guides, business rules, systems requirements, meta-data, configuration management data, system design, entity-relational modelling, data dictionaries, service catalogs, and traceability matrices to name a few. Using a provided api, the existing means of producing these deliverables can be replaced by reports developed to draw off of this repository. At this stage I developed a Winforms implementation of the product using C#/.Net 4.0, Sql Server 2008 and developed the website with Asp.Net, Sql Server 2008, Dojo, HTML5 and Macromedia Fireworks. Ongoing work involves porting this application to web using MVC 3.0, HTML5 and JQuery.
