Descriptionof Services:AWCC provides temporary shelter, food, clothing; emergency medical needs, support

groups, information and referral services with assistance for housing & employment for victims of domestic

violence. Also available is general education and education about domestic violence. AWCC provides shelter 24

hours a day, 7 days a week. Victims of family violence are persons who have experienced or who believe they

are in danger of experiencing physical or emotional abuse caused by a spouse, ex-spouse, partner, other

family member or person in a shared dwelling. We also have a children’s advocate available in the shelter as
