The form of action/ sentence that the subject is a doer

  • I kick John
  • He loves me

What is Passive Voice?

The form of action / sentence that the subject is done by the others or is effected from the verb. It usually includes "by" in the sentence.

  • John is kicked by me
  • I was taught by my mother to be kind to people.
  • They are cooked by Marry.
