/ (i) Action sheet approved subject to an amendment to item 9 - Memorium for Frank Buckley to delete ‘Allen Build’ and substitute ‘Alderbrook’.
(ii) That it be noted that the Chairman had requested that the presentation on Cultural Industries be included on the agenda for a future meeting of Members’ Hour.

Footway / (i) That approval be given to carry out the felling and replacing of four trees and the crown pruning of six trees on Brereton Drive, Worsley.
(ii) That a letter be sent to local residents informing them of the action being taken and that they should contact their Ward Councillors if they had any concerns.
(iii) That it be noted that local residents and Ward Councillors would be involved in the choice of the replacement trees. / Steven Lee

(d) Unitary Development Plan / That it be noted that a group from Rotterdam were due to visit Manchester to look at regeneration projects and that they had expressed an interest to look at developments at Salford Quays.
That it be noted that a discussion had been held at a recent meeting of the Technical Co-ordination Group with regard to a request by Street Broadcast to advertise on street lighting columns, however, it was considered that due to existing advertising commitments it was not felt that it would be appropriate at this time.
(i) That it be noted that the proposals for Salford Forest Park had been included on the front page of the Manchester Evening News.
(ii) That the Head of Law and Administration be contacted with regard to the need to keep a note of all those Councillors who had expressed a view on the planning application.
That if considered necessary a special meeting of Council be arranged to consider the Unitary Development Plan prior to the elections in June, 2004. / Chris Findley
