Accountability Cohort and Graduation Rate Cohort

A Cohort is defined as a group of students who first enter grade 9 in the same school year. Accountability decisions for secondary-level English language arts and mathematics performance and for graduation rate are determined by a cohort of students. Cohort year is determined using the GRADE 09 ENTRY DATE reported in the school year the last enrollment record occurred as of the reporting date.
