Starfish House comprises six self-catering apartments built in 2007 with access to the front and the rear of the building.

ARRIVAL

Your property will be available from 3pm on your day of arrival.

Please call 10 minutes prior to arrival to ensure that you will be greeted by a member of staff.

If arriving after 4.30pm please call to arrange alternative access.

Luggage can be unloaded at the front of the property.

RECEPTION

Reception is adjacent to Starfish House and is open from 9am-5pm (seasonal variable).

Reception consists of a welcome area with two sofas and a coffee table. There is a selection of DVD’s and local information available.

Booking and access to leisure facilities can be made via reception.

Trained staff are available to answer any queries you may have.

PROPERTY ACCESS

Silver Street is one car wide with buildings either side and is a two way street.

FRONT ENTRANCE

A 50mm step up to the entrance door. The double doors are 1500mm wide, each leaf is 740mm.

For wheelchair access both doors have to be open.

The lock and handle height is 1340mm.

To open the second leaf there are 2 draw bolts: 600mm and 1900mm high.

The door intercom / access system is to the right of the door 1400mm high with push buttons.

The entrance hall is 1000mm wide1500mm long. There is

a disabled persons lift from the entrance hall to ground floor. The door is 900mm the lift platform is 1500mm long and 1040mm wide.

Ground floor lift landing is 1000mm wide 2000mm long.

The staircase from entrance hall to ground floor is 900mm wide with 7 steps each 180mm.

The main ground floor landing up to the first floor is 4000mm x 1000mm.

The stairs to the first and second floor are 850mm wide with 14 steps each step 180mm.

There is also a disabled persons lift from the ground floor to all floors the door is 900mm the lift platform is 1500mm x 1040mm.

REAR ENTRANCE

To reach the rear entrance of Starfish House go through a courtyard at the back of the office just off Clarkson Street. The

entrance has a slight step up of 15mm and a step down of 140mm. The entrance width is 840mm.

The bottom yard 2400mm x 4000mm leads to a steel staircase through an entrance 850mm wide.

The clear space up to the steel steps (the smallest width) is 950mm. The staircase to the gallery is 900mm wide with 14 steps with a rise of 190mm.

The top landing is 2420mmx 3000mm.

The building is accessed by the door directly in front of the staircase 850mm with single step 200mm.

Clear space through the entrance is 900mm x 720mm.

Internal landing 970mm x 800mm (smallest width) and a hall 3200mm x1200mm.

Follow the hall through a doorway 680mm. This entrance brings you onto the first floor of Starfish House.

APARTMENT ENTRANCE

The entrance door is 860mm wide. The lock is 850mm high with key and lever handle.

HALLWAY

The hallway measures 950mm (smallest width) x 2340mm. All rooms can be accessed from the hall.

LOUNGE / KITCHEN

LOUNGE

The doorway is 860mm wide.

The clear area as you go into the living room is 160mm x 1000mm

The sofa is 1370mm wide and 400mm high and 560mm deep.

There are two arm chairs seat height 450mm x 480mm wide.

The majority of our furniture is moveable.

Standard TV, DVD and satellite which can be operated by remote control.

There is a heater with switch 460mm high and also a touch sensitive switch 1600mm high.

Free standing electric focal fire with remote control.

Windows are sliding sash 850mm wide 1100mm high sill height 640mm

KITCHEN

The kitchen diner is open plan, which is part of the lounge with

breakfast bar 800mm wide 1900mm long and 950mm high with 4 stools, which are adjustable in height.

The sink area is 1200mm by 700mm with single bowl and mono

block tap.

The fridge is an under counter fridge with top freezer box and is 500mm wide.

The worktops are 950mm high and 600mm deep.

The cooker is 500mm wide and 900mm high and is all electric with top grill and bottom oven.

SHOWER ROOM

The entrance door is 860mm. Free space1300mm x 1700mmThe step up into the shower is 170mm and the entrance into the shower is 460mm.

The maximum height for the shower controls is 1350mm and is surrounded by a curved glass screen.

The basin height is 850mm depth 500mm width 600mm with a mirror and shaver light above.

The toilet is 390mm high with a push button flush.

BEDROOM 1

The entrance door is 860mm wide.

Double bed, height 450 mm, width 1400mm, length 2000mm.

Bedside table either side with lamps 500mm by 400mm.

Free space to the left hand side of the bed is 1130mm and right hand side 720mm

Dressing table with stool, table height 670mm x 900mm

x 500mm.

stool height 460mm x 590mm x 350mm, mirror over with light above.

BEDROOM 2

The entrance door is 860mm wide.

The twin bedroom comprises of twin beds 190mm long and 900mm wide with one bedside table 500mm x 400mm with lamp in between the two beds.

There is no free space to the left or right hand side of the bed.

The free space in between the two beds is 400mm x 2400mm

Wall mounted full length mirror height from floor 360mm. Dressing table with stool, table height 740mm x 860mm

x 500mm with stool which is 460mm high 350mm wide and 350mm in depth with wall mounted mirror with light over.

There is a heater with switch, 500mm high and also a touch sensitive switch 1900mm high.

PARKING FACILITIES

Some parking is available and must be booked for a small daily charge. Max size 4.8 x 1.8m

LAUNDRY

We provide a laundry service at a small charge per kilo. You can call our office to arrange dropping off and collection times on the number provided.

WASTE DISPOSAL

Waste bins are kept in the bottom yard.

SHOPS

There are shops on Skinner Street which runs parallel to Silver Street which include an off licence, post office and a number of other shops.

There is a short walk into the town centre, about 500 metres (steep hill).

PUBLIC AND LOCAL TRANSPORT

The bus station and railway station are only a short walk away 5-10 minutes at the most and there is also a taxi rank in the town centre which is also only a 5-10 minute walk away (steep hill).
