ICAI3021A Task 6

Client:

Hardware Harry

Feedback interview details

The interview was conducted between John Kane from Bayview Computers and Harry Smith, manager of Hardware Harry. It was conducted on 24th May 2005.

Objectives:

The objectives of the new system are to be able to record video clips, transfer to the existing computer system where they will be edited and copied to DVD. The shop’s customer will be then be able to view the videos on a separate computer system located in the store.

Client Feedback:

All objectives were met.

System shortcomings:

Some users are not familiar with using the mouse and require instruction in selecting and running the video clip

Resolution of system shortcomings:

A short instruction sheet that will be produced and placed next to the computer

Other comments:

If the problem continues, another possible solution is to replace the existing monitor with a touch screen monitor. The approximate cost is $400.

I would recommend a follow up interview in one month’s time for further review.
