Job Title: Parts Delivery Driver / Reporting to: Parts Manager
Department: Parts
/ Based at: North Oxford BMW

Purpose of the Job:

Deliver Trade parts in an efficient and courteous manner. Ensuring the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction. To present yourself as an ambassador for the company, conform with corporate standards and uphold a smart well-groomed appearance.

Main Duties:

·  To provide an efficient delivery collection service of parts for both the dealership and our various trade customers

·  To provide the above services in the most time efficient manner possible

·  Organise and plan day's daily delivery

·  Ensure that all deliveries are picked, packed and ready for delivery in line with retailer delivery times

·  Ensure that accurate records are maintained of proof of delivery/collection

·  To, as required, collect moneys due on these parts deliveries and ensure accuracy of any cheques you receive whilst delivering goods

·  To ensure that all of the parts customers are dealt with in a thoroughly professional and prompt manner

·  To remain at all times fully conversant with the dealerships terms and conditions of trading, relevant to your role

·  Report any missing or damaged stock to Parts Supervisor

·  Assist in ensuring that all parts received are correctly checked against the original order and delivery notes

·  Ensure that parts delivery van is clean and well maintained

·  Maintain a record of parts van movements and driver at all times when leaving premises

·  Report any unauthorised use of delivery vehicles

·  Assist in daily and annual stock checks when required

·  Alert Parts Supervisor to any problematic situations

·  Ensure that the highest levels of customer satisfaction are maintained and follow up any customer complaints to ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner

·  Adhere to all company security procedures

·  Assist in ensuring that if locations are full that parts are relocated to a practical location

·  To assist in maintaining the Parts Department and outlying display areas to a very high level of housekeeping and display

Inter-dependencies:

·  Liaise with other department staff, company management and manufacturer

Limits of Authority:

·  Not to fail to take any trading actions that could endanger the continuance of our franchise agreement.

·  Not to enter the company into any form of contract without the approval of the management

·  Parts KPIs

·  Feedback from Manager

·  Delivery of project and business objectives

·  Positive customer feedback

Critical Skills:

·  Full valid UK driving licence

·  Good communication skills listening & speaking

·  Time management

·  A polite & helpful demeanour

·  Good navigation skills

·  Eligibility to work in the UK

Remuneration and Benefits

·  Salary £16k pro rata (3 month Fixed Term Contract) + benefits

·  22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Pension contribution, Childcare Vouchers, Vehicle Leasing Scheme, Cycle to Work Scheme

·  Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm with 30mins for lunch
