ABOUT THE COMMODORE CARD - FOR ENGINEERING STUDENTS

Fall 2015

The Commodore Card is more than your student ID card. Your Commodore Card may also be used to make cash free purchases at on-campus and off-campus locations that accept the Commodore Card as a method of payment. Your card will also be used to access your VU Meal Plan and access to campus buildings such as residence halls, libraries, academic buildings, the Student Recreation Center, and on-campus sporting events.

HOW TO ADD FUNDS TO YOUR COMMODORE CARD

To ensure that funds are available to buy the things you need when you arrive at Vanderbilt, including your laptop computer and books, it is important to add Commodore Cash to your card. There are two steps for you to follow in order to do this:

First, complete and submit the Student Account Agreement form that was mailed to you. This will allow you to move any financial aid funds you may have from your student account to your Commodore Card. This will allow you to make book and laptop purchases, access copiers, printers, laundry, and to make purchases at markets. This form can also be downloaded from www.vanderbilt.edu/stuaccts.

Second, you should make a Commodore Cash selection before July 15, 2015. To make this selection visit the Commodore Card web site located at

https://buycommodorecash.vanderbilt.edu/. Your VUnet ID and password will be required for log in.

The Commodore Cash amount you select will be billed to your student account and added to your Commodore Card at the beginning of the fall semester and again at the beginning of the spring semester.

If you do not make a selection, or select $0 there will be a $35 late payment fee for charging funds to your student account between July 15, 2015 and September 15, 2015. You may add funds to your Commodore Card via personal check at any time without a fee.
