About Our Preliminary Proposals…
1. ‘Preliminary’ because we don’t know much about you and you are not familiar with our parlors, therefore its darn near impossible to prepare a Proposal that would be just right for you, considering there are dozens of details.
Besides, we don’t know what your budget is.
The ‘Preliminary’ is a great base for discussions the next time we talk or get together. Lots of things to talk about.
Following those discussions we’ll work out another ‘Preliminary Proposal.’ We may also try to visit a couple installations. By then we’ll get pretty close to a parlor that works for and comes in within your budget.
2. What’s included in the Proposal? Each item is broken out, with detailed descriptions, pictures and cost.
3. If the column on the left shows -0- quantity the item is not included. For complete parlors proposals there are very few -0- items. If you only need Stalls and TakeOffs, there will be many -0- items. We could take them out and save a bunch of paper, but we leave them in so you know what else is available and what’s not included. There are many items you’d never think of.
4. For most equipment groups, both - higher and lower cost options are available.
5. Prices shown on the right are the regular retail price.
6. ….which we then discount by anywhere from 12% to 18% (for Dairy-Direct Projects) on the Summary page near the back. Discount depends on whether you are buying factory-direct or thru a local Dealer, total dollar value of the Proposal, how busy we are in the shop and other factors.
7. As to the pictures….not every picture shows the actual and exact product. There are many different models, design details, etc. Sometimes we don’t have the exact picture….
8. On the Summary Page: Sub-Total Materials shows the cost of the equipment and materials. We then add factory pre-assembly labor to make Modules out of the materials. Finally, we add Freight and ‘On-Site Installation Labor’.
9. All of which adds up to the Grand Total - your actual cost of the parlor.
10. Please remember that Formal Proposals are only good for 30 days and all equipment is subject to availability.
