ADVICE
The corporate policyis ‘general’ in its direction and a management plan (site policy) should be produced for all premises.The enforcing authority may wish to audit compliance with documentation at corporate. departmental and local levels.
Note: The site management plan will refer to both corporate and departmental documentation as well as corporate direction.
To comply with legal requirements a Fire Safety Management System should be established and maintained in all workplaces. As a minimum the following aspects of your management system should be documented and available in the workplace for audit by HCC and HFRS Auditors/Inspectors.
