St Matthews Healthcare offers an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals in a new challenging and changing environmentto clients. We are looking for a number of staff to join us for our new site at The Lodge in Coventry which will be a 30 bedded care home.

Main Duties / JOB SUMMARY
The Post Holder will work as a member of the Multi-disciplinary Team and assist the qualified staff/line manager in the total care of the patients. They will accept delegated duties.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES
- Able to carry out basic nursing care and personal hygiene for residents.
- Able to work as part of a team
- Demonstrate an interest in further training and career development
- Ability to listen and relay accurate information to others
- Recognise the basic daily living needs of an individual
- Have an understanding of the importance of observing and reporting patient’s behaviour
- Ability to work using initiative
- An ability to show courtesy, empathy and respect to others in the environment
- Evidence of taking pride in `customer` focus e.g. listening, respecting, responding and involving
- Confident and able to inspire confidence in others
- Ability to work collaboratively
OTHER REQUIREMENTS/GENERAL
- Able to do day/night rotation including nights, weekends and bank holidays
- Ability to undertake training as required. .
