Dear Parent/Guardian:
I hope that you and your family have had a good summer. I am excited about the new school year and all the exciting activities and adventures that it has in store for us. The teachers and staff at Abernathy Middle School are dedicated to helping our students be successful every day. We are committed to providing your child with the time and support they need to develop academically and socially in order to be successful in a 21st century world.
Registration packets will need to be picked up at the middle school on Monday, August 7th or Tuesday, August 8th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. For your convenience packets may be completed by the parent when they are picked up or they may be taken and returned. Please return completed packet by 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 8th, packets must be completed and returned before a student schedule may be picked up. Student class schedules will be available for pick up beginning Monday, August 14th at 8:00 AM. This applies to all Abernathy Middle School students.
Abernathy ISD would like to invite you to a special parent workshop by Trevor Ragan on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 7:00 to 8:30 in the AISD Auditorium. Trevor is a dynamic speaker who has worked with many collegiate sports teams, Team USA, Microsoft, Chipotle, and many other organizations. If you are interested to know more about Trevor check out his website, www.trainugly.com.
New student parent orientation will be Monday, August 14, 2017 at 6:15 PM in the Bettie Hardin auditorium. This meeting is for all sixth grade parents as well as parents of students in seventh or eighth grade new to Abernathy Middle School. However, any parent of an Abernathy Middle School student is welcome to attend.
