with American Association for Justice

PHILADELPHIA (August 2009) – Philadelphia personal injury and nursing home negligence attorney, Rhonda Hill Wilson, was recently elected to serve as the Parliamentarian for the American Association for Justice (AAJ). She was also appointed by AAJ President, Anthony Tarricone, to serve as the organization’s Diversity Taskforce Chair. The annual AAJ national officers’ elections took place at a Membership Business Meeting on July 29, 2009 in San Francisco.

Her goals, serving in this capacity, are to support existing AAJ programs, to increase and enhance membership, and to implement new programs in leadership development and diversity. As chair of the AAJ Diversity Taskforce, Ms. Hill Wilson will work with group leaders to develop a diversity plan that spans the spectrum of the organization.

“I am humbled and honored to be elected and appointed to these prestigious national positions,” said Ms. Hill Wilson. “I believe in the AAJ’s mission to promote a fair and effective justice system—and to support the work of attorneys in their efforts to ensure that any person who is injured by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in America’s courtrooms. I will take on these positions with the utmost allegiance and professionalism.”

Other attorneys elected to the AAJ national office include Anthony Tarricone, Esq., as president; C. Gibson Vance, Esq., as president-elect; Gary M. Paul, Esq., as vice president; Richard M. Golomb, Esq., as secretary; and J. Burton LeBlanc IV, Esq., as treasurer.

She has served as an educator, faculty member and speaker at the 2009 AAJ Annual Convention and the AAJ’s Trial Advocacy College educational programs. She has also served as a member of the organization’s Executive and Membership Oversight Committees and the National Finance, Justice List, Law Schools, and Organization Review Committees.
