A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in loving memory and honor of Robert W. Moore.

With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to Robert W. Moore, and we pause in silent reverence for his soul.

WHEREAS, Robert W. Moore was born on January 13, 1939, a native of Trimble County, Kentucky, and he traversed these earthly bounds on July 1, 1999; and

WHEREAS, Robert W. Moore was the loving son of Mary Helen McManis Moore and the late Robert F. Moore, and he was the devoted husband of Helen J. Moore; and

WHEREAS, Robert W. Moore was an esteemed member and public servant of the Trimble County community, where he was employed as Trimble County Clerk for twenty years; and

WHEREAS, Robert W. Moore was a devout member of the Bedford United Methodist Church and Gideon International; he was a volunteer prison chaplain and a volunteer in the men's prayer breakfast, and the American Red Cross; and

WHEREAS, Robert W. Moore served his country with distinction in the United States Army; and

WHEREAS, the passing of Robert W. Moore has left a void that will be difficult to fill, and he is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth;

NOW, THEREFORE,

Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The Senate does hereby express its profound sense of sorrow upon the passing of Robert W. Moore, and extends to his family its most heartfelt sympathy.

Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Robert W. Moore.

Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Mrs. Helen Moore, P. O. Box 35, Bedford, Kentucky 40006.
