A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of David Earl Gribbins.

WHEREAS, David Earl Gribbins was born on May 8, 1948; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Gribbins was a war veteran and served as a staff member at the Marion County Detention Center; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Gribbins was a resident of Bradfordsville, Kentucky at the time of his passing; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Gribbins departed this earthly life at the age of 66 on November 16, 2014, leaving his family, friends, and an entire community in solemn mourning; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Gribbins is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Lou Gribbins; six sons, Mark "PJ" Trailor and his spouse, Charlene, Tommy Carey and his spouse, Nancy, Troy Carey, Teddy Ray Gribbins and his spouse, Alisa, Robert Gribbins and his spouse, Shelly, and Myer Alan Gribbins and his spouse, Heather; three daughters, Dana Roeder and her spouse, Charlie, Carrie Gribbins and her spouse, Amy, and Robin Medley and her spouse, Tony; three brothers, Jimmy Gribbins, Robbie Gribbins, and Donnie Gribbins; four sisters, Lea "Sissy" Benedict, Ann Hall, Susie Bradshaw, and Emogene Bradshaw; and 18 grandchildren;

NOW, THEREFORE,

Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

âSection 1. The Senate hereby expresses its most profound sense of sorrow upon the passing of David Earl Gribbins and extends its heartfelt sympathy to his family, friends, and community in this time of loss.

âSection 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving memory of David Earl Gribbins.

âSection 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Senator Jimmy Higdon for delivery.
