A Message from the Social Chair-- Theresa Burke

Update Your Email Now! Don’t Miss Anything Important!

If you have not received an email from the Swim Club in a while, it’s time to fix that problem. If you have had the same address for a while, first check your spam folder, as our emails may be there. Most email programs will allow you to adjust your settings to receive multiple recipient emails from selected sites. If that’s not the problem (i.e. you have a newer email address), please send your new address immediately to . While we are also asking you to include your email address to us on your renewal form, as well, we still need your address ASAP to keep you informed this winter and spring regarding progress with respect to the fire restoration, Spring Cleaning, swim team news, etc. Just send a blank email to the address aboveif you haven’t been receiving our emails and you’re back in the loop!

Spring Cleaning and Open House are just around the corner!

Once again this year, we have two important events that happen before the pool opens. On the weekends of April 29 and 30, as well as May 4 and 5, we will have our annual Spring Cleaning (tentative, confirmation will be sent out). This is an excellent time for members to get together and make our Club look its best, as well as being a good time for high school kids to earn volunteer hours.

Also, our annual Open House will be scheduled for the weekend of May 18 and 19. Please invite your friends and neighbors so we can continue to keep our club strong!

Important Member Information!

  • Earn Money and Guest Passes!! By now you should have received an email stating that you can earn one family pass and four guest passes by paying at least $250 of your Membership Dues by March 31 (note new date). You can also receive a $50 incentive check from the Swim Club by referring a new family ($25 for a couple) to the Club by June 30. That money will be received by you when the new member pays in full, so do not deduct your incentive from your membership dues.
  • Guest Fees remain the same-- $4 per individual Monday through Friday; $5 per individual Saturday, Sunday, and holidays; $15 max. per family any day; $2 per individual any day after 5 p.m.
  • Swim Club Numbers—Membership Information 307-7724; Pool’s Front Desk 474-0574

Membership Payment Information

The last two pages of this Newsletter are your Membership Renewal Form and the Emergency Health Information Form. Please send BOTH of these forms along with your payment to the address indicated on the payment form. Also, please include a current email address(s), as this is our primary method of communication during the season.

Membership dues are paid at either an initiated or non-initiated rate. To be an initiated member, a family needs to pay the initiation fee of $500, either up front the first year at the discounted rate of $400, or in four yearly installments added to the normal dues. If your family joined the Club in 2010 or after and did not pay the initiation fees up front, pay at the non-initiated rate.
