A letter to my boss:Why attending AMPEAK will improve our organisation.

Dear <manager>,

Our work in asset management can often be isolating, without exposure to a variety of points of view, and we can miss new ideas and trends that can impact future results. To avoid this, there is a considerable-and-growing body of knowledge in asset management that is available through different channels.

One such channel is the upcoming AMPEAK conference, to be held in Hobart between 15-18 April. This year’s conference theme is ‘empowering sustainable change’ and the agenda focuses on <insert specifics> that are very relevant to my job challenges right now.

At AMPEAK, I will be exposed to the latest thinking in asset management, from case studies without our own and other industries, to technologies that are emerging to make our jobs simpler. I’ll be able to benchmark our approach and standards in asset management against our peers, our competitors and our suppliers, and the knowledge gained will enhance our performance, better position us to understand where changes can be implemented, and continuously improve our organisation.

Some of the best mentors in the asset management industry will be attending AMPEAK. By associating with these professionals, exhibitors and academics, our organisation will be connected to companies across state and international borders. The conference features over eighty industry guest speakers that will greatly benefit my work. For example, <give specific program information and agenda>.
