(With effect from the academic year 2016)
Message from the Founder
From the Principal’s Desk..
We live in an era of globalization which has transcended all barriers of religion, region, culture, language, etc. leading to the blurring of academic as well as economic boundaries. Globalization has made conformation to international standards inevitable. Producers are becoming quality conscious; providers of various services are becoming more & more professional; concepts of total quality management (TQM) and customer satisfaction are gaining more attention; current concern is gradually growing for better corporate governance. Human resource development is gaining highest importance. Transparency, truthfulness, profit, finance and creativity, integrity and honesty are the emerging values. With GATS making education a tradable commodity, education has definitely become a matter of ‘customer satisfaction’. The apt slogan for teachers in the present context of globalization, liberalization and privatization is ‘perform or perish!’
The aim of education in this globalising world should be to build up a qualified and creative workforce that can envision the future, that can adapt to new technologies and take part in the "intelligence revolution" that is the driving force of our economies; education should advance knowledge in such a way that economic development goes hand in hand with management of the physical and human resources; education should produce citizens rooted in their own cultures and appreciative of other cultures and committed to the progress of the global society. In short, education should produce citizens capable of information management, knowledge management & change management.
With this rationale, the college has ventured to prepare managers for educational institutions by offering Post Graduate Diploma in Management of Education (PGDME) from the academic year 2007-08. I invite you to join us in our endeavor for new heights of excellence, share our vision of enlightening, empowering and emancipating the student fraternity and foster lifelong learning.
