ACTION POINTS:

a)Karin will facilitate in getting printing paper for GIS maps from Beira.

b)Raul is to meet with INGC and agree on the assessment to be done for a probable food distribution in Cote.

c)Jan to negotiate with the Sena company for extra days to use their 60MT boat to transport the rest of the 200MT of WFP food to Chinde.

1.AIROPS (Helicopters).(Sandra Legg)

10 flights of 25.96 tons of cargo transported.

-3 flights to Canga with food for WFP.

-1 to Mutara-Traquino with NFIs on behalf ofINGC.

-1 to Mutarara-Inhangoma with NFIs for INGC.

-5 to Mutarara with WFP food.

Tomorrow’s operations are as per the distributed proposed flight plan.

2.BOATS.(Jan Gerritse).

-2 boats sent to Mutara with NFIs for Oxfam.

Tomorrow:

-All the boats will be back tomorrow and some will be used to transport the pending NFIs for Oxfam and Unicef to Mutara.

-The 60MT boat from the Sena company will be used on Saturday to transport tents (INGC) and food 100 tons (WFP) to Chinde.

3. TRUCKS. (Leon Claasen).

-3 trucks were loading the choppers and 2 the boats.

Thomas succeeded in locating the Braz where food was to be transported.

-1 truck went to Braz with WFP food and another to Chemba.

-1 truck sent to Tambara with WFP food.

For tomorrow:5 trucks will be loading the boats and choppers. 1 truck will go to Chire and Pinda with Unicef and INGC NFIs.

4.WAREHOUSING. (Robert Sanchez)

-Thomas has ‘cleaned’ the tracking sheets and they are now up to date.

-the facilities to be put at the disposal of the warehouse staff is nearly complete.

CMR tracking sheet was distributed as usual.

Miscellaneous:

-Karin, Dep Director WFP arrived in Caia and attended the Cluster meeting.

-Cluster members who have not yet submitted the questionnaires (evaluation) of cluster services are asked to do so tomorrow.
