Happy Birthday Tommy!

Edison Week 2015

A Guide to Making Your Wildest Dreams Come True

Teachers and Staff,

It is my pleasure to provide you with a guide to this year’s Edison Week. Your Student Council officers and members as well as many of your students have been diligently working to make Edison Week 2015 a celebration for the recordbooks. I have compiled a schedule for the week that I think will help you. We are all excited for the upcoming events and hope you are too.

We understand that academic work will continue during Edison Week. For this reason, there are a couple of areas in which we need your help:

  1. Students have the opportunity to sign up for limited participation games and events that will take place during the week. They must sign up prior to the week itself. If you or a student have any questions regarding participation in events, please see a respective Class Sponsor: Freshmen – Greenwood Sophomores –Eichenberger, Juniors – Catlett and Thomas, Seniors – Winston. Sponsors will provide students with passes for these events. These OFFICIAL EDISON WEEK PASSES will change color daily: Tuesday – Yellow, Wednesday – Blue, Thursday – Pink. To ease the flow of the day, we ask that you release students ONLY if they have an official pass.
  1. If you have students who would like to participate in the Best Dressed or an unlimited participation event, we ask that you would please send them to the appropriate location with a pink pass. Only allow students who are dressed in an appropriate costume for the day to attend best dressed events.

Thank you in advance for all of your patience and support during this crazy and fun week. I would also like to invite you to get involved. I know it may not seem like it, but Edison Week is also for the teachers! We are in need of judges for our many activities. It is a great way to spend your plan period! You might even consider joining a group of teachers and compete along with us.

With your help, Edison Week 2015 is sure to be a success. I know students appreciate the cooperation and time you give during Edison Week, and we definitely could not accomplish such an event without you. If you have any question, feel free to ask me, Mrs. Griffin, or any of the other officers. Start thinking about costumes and let’s all wish Tommy a happy birthday together!

Thank you,

Maddie Roper

Student Council President 2014-2015
