Get ready for the road trip of a lifetime as Lionsgate Home Entertainment releases Alpha and Omega on a Blu-ray Disc Combo Pack (two discs including Blu-ray and DVD - as well as code to download a Digital Copy). The film will also be available on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand. Grossing over $24 million at the box office, the fun-filled animated adventure comes from the creator of Open Season and features a talented voice cast including Justin Long (Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel), Hayden Panettiere (TV’s “Heroes”), Dennis Hopper (Speed), Danny Glover (Dreamgirls) and Christina Ricci (Speed Racer). Both the DVD and Blu-ray Combo Pack include bonus features the whole family will enjoy, including featurettes, animal trivia, a deleted scene and a Log Sliding interactive game. The “pawsome” journey,which also received the Dove Foundation Seal of Approval, comes home on January 11, 2011 and will be available on DVD for $29.98 and Blu-ray Combo Pack for the suggested retail price of $39.99.

SYNOPSIS

Come along on the ultimate road-trip adventure that will leave the whole family howling with laughter! When Kate, a take-charge “Alpha” wolf, and Humphrey, a laid back “Omega” wolf get snatched by park rangers and relocated halfway across the country, the two must set off on an incredible journey home. With the help of a goofy golfing goose and his quacky duck caddy, Kate and Humphrey won’t let anything stop them – prickly porcupines, grumpy bears, even a speeding locomotive – from getting back to JasperPark in time to help save their pack from rival wolves. And along the way, Kate and Humphrey learn that even though they are complete opposites, they make a pretty good team! It’s a thousand miles of fun in this wildly entertaining journey the whole pack can enjoy together.
