While summer vacation is a time most people look forward to, the reality is that not every summer vacation lives up to what you hoped it would be. Other times, something unexpected happens and makes the summer better than you ever expected. Hopefully you had a “better than expected” summer, but now it is time to settle back into the routine of schedules and schoolwork.

-Do not procrastinate on assignments  it will be less stressful and they will probably be done better than something rushed at the last minutes
-Improve attendance over last year  the more time you spend in class the more likely you are to understand the material and not fall behind
-Ask the teacher for help when not understanding a topic  will likely lead to better grades and will not be so stressful if the next item learned “builds” on that one / 4
