1)Toys for Tots fundraiser 10/25/14 from 12pm-4pm at the Cross Bar, St Bonny – Bring food to share

2)Poker Dart and Pool 11/15/14 Delano Lanes $10 per person - Bowling is $2.50 per game and $3 shoe rental

3)Grounded Hogs Discussion on only one band along with other type feed thru speakers? Need volunteers for security and the auction. Going with 2 kegs and 7 cases of beer/ Fred will be head of Security team. Need more sponsorship’s too.

Dial a Ride:Mike - dropped off materials at Weekenders – He reported no calls came in the season from the LC area.

PR:Mitch –

1) Need to schedule shopping after Toys for Tots fundraiser/has someone made the Kare 11 appt for dropping off the donation?

2) Bowling for BB and BS 11/2 in Big Lake, Mitch reported that this is the 20th year that LC has done this fundraiser and LC has raised over $40K for this organization.

Training and Ed: Danita (still looking for a replacement) Mitch reported that Drivers Ed classes may include motorcycle awareness as part of the classroom instruction.

Membership: Dave C, with some help from his friends - a big thank you goes out to Scott and Chris for the help they provided.

Task Force: Mitch - Crash Facts booklet passed/ The BRC is $180.00/Road Guard Training class to be offered at A.B.A.T.E. U

Motorcycle Riders Foundation: Dawn – Meeting of the Minds in KC review. Awards were given to Lake Chapter and our members at the Meeting of the Minds Conference in Kansas City. The Thomas Paine Award was presented to Mike Berger for his literary contributions to motorcycle rights, Todd Riba received the Most outstanding MRF REP of the Year and ABATE of Minnesota hangs in the top three for individual MRF memberships - /Request for people to step up and become members or sustaining members. MRF cannot do the work without the funds.

Legislative: Todd reviewed some of the legislation that is pending or going on in other states and advised that a Voter’s Guide will be available prior to November 4th.
