UNDERGRADUATE LEVEL SCHOLARSHIP
Students now attending or who have been accepted to attend a realtime voice writing program are encouraged to apply for consideration of this scholarship. Only applications containing all requested documentation will be considered. Applications for the 2016 scholarship must be received no later than March 1, 2016.
The scholarship entitles the recipient to:
  • A $500 payment to a voice writing program
(payment made directly to school)
  • Free NVRA or NCRA Study Guide
  • A voucher entitling the recipient to one CVR or CCR Workshop, one online written examination, and one dictation skills test (pre-registration required)
  • Free one-year student membership with GCCRA
  • 1 Board meeting (required) for networking with industry leaders
  • 1 entry into the GCCRA Spring OR Fall Conference (this does not include hotel room for the conference)

This award, established in 2008 by the NationalVerbatim Reporters Association, is available through GCCRA to newgraduates and students who have or will havecompleted a realtime voice writing program during the calendar year(January 1 - December 31, 2016).
