Your “Last Lecture” or “Commencement Speech”
1. ASK YOURSELF:
What wisdom would I choose to impart to the world if it was my last chance? What are the lessons of my own life?
2. DEVELOP A LECTURE:
A. Create an outline
· Must have a theme and 3 points to support your “thesis statement”
B. Rehearse over the break:
· Once outline approved by Ms. Ferrarone -Write a full speech
· Incorporate props, slideshow, photographs, music, etc.
· Practice, Practice, Practice!
C. Present to the Class
Outlines are Due On: Final Presentations are Due On:
Monday, November 14th = A Day Wednesday, November 30th = B Day
Tuesday, November 15th = B Day Thursday, December 1st – A Day
