YEARBOOK THEME ANALYSIS

OVERVIEW

In this assignment students will demonstrate their knowledge of yearbook theme development.

TASK

Each student will analyze one yearbook based on its effective, or ineffective, use of a theme. You will analyze each yearbook based on:

· The Cover

· The Endsheets

· The Opening and Closing Pages

· The Title Page

· The Divider Pages

· Design elements

· Copy

· The Book as a Whole

STEPS

· See your teacher to get a yearbook from the yearbook samples cupboard.

· Use the questions below to analyze various section of the yearbook

· Once you have completed your analysis PLEASE RETURN THE BOOK TO THE CUPBOARD NEATLY!

· Hand-in your findings to your teacher
