Scope of Work for TV Program Production and Broadcast – Balkh Province

Public Forum

Project Objectives

The overall goal of the project is to increase and advance the number of women in the Afghan Civil Service through facilitating women’s entry into decision-making roles in government service, encouraging hospitable environment for female staff in government, and increasing local stakeholders’ support for women in government, and thereby promote a more inclusive government that is responsive to the needs of the entire Afghan population, thus fostering a more democratic and stable state.

Public Forum

Equal Access Afghanistan is conducting a public forum in Balkh province, in order to open a dialogue between general public and the religious scholars and women rights activists to discuss the Afghan women’s role in government and the need for their role in society. Therefore, Equal Access Afghanistan is requesting capable and eligible TV stations and production companies to send their quotations for providing a hall, facilities, a facilitator for the forum, produce a 30-45 minutes video and broadcast it through Balkh local TV channel’s peak time.

Scope of Work

1. Provide a hall for the public forum to have the capacity of at least 70 people audience and 5 people panel members

2. Provide a facilitator to facilitate the panel discussion and audience questions

3. Provide proper lighting facilities

4. Provide good recording facilities (use at least three HD video cameras)

5. Stage decoration and stage management

6. Provide proper editing services (produce a 30-45 minutes version video from two hours recording)

7. Provide facilities and equipment’s for the public forum

8. Broadcast the edited 30-45 minutes video of the public forum at TV’s peak time

Requirements:

· Observation of professionalism in all work procedures.

· Submission of valid legal agency license registered with Afghan Government.

· At least 5 years of experience in production and broadcast of quality programs

· Submission of application for the assignment along with the quotation

Submission Guidelines:

All interested TV companies can submit their Quotation to Equal Access Afghanistan organization, before Jan 14, 2017, 4:00 pm local time through email to address. All official quotations should be attached with a cover letter bearing the applicant company’s stamp and update AISA license copy. The documents providing Quotations should be in English.
