William Dryer Memorial Scholarship Fund - William "Bill" Dryer was a well respected educator at Scott Community High School for many years. He taught Chemistry and Physics throughout his career as well as coached football and track. He received his BS from The University of Kansas where he played freshman football and was a member of the track team. He went on to Fort Hays State University where he received his Master's degree in science education. Bill's passion for teaching didn't end in the classroom; as a coach he led many athletes, including his daughter, to state titles. After his sudden passing last Fall, the family wanted to continue his legacy of teaching & commitment to education. They started the scholarship fund to continue the passion Bill had for life-long learning.
